North Coast  (Overview)

The  North Coast (Litoral Norte in portuguese) is the whole coastal region of Bahia state, which separates the city of Salvador from Mangue Seco town, which is located very close to the motto of the state of Bahia with the state of Sergipe, a distance about of 230 km with a lot of beaches.

The main road of  North Coast (Litoral Norte) is called "BA-009" and it is basically divided into two parts: one part known as COCONUT'S ROAD (ESTRADA DO CÔCO in portuguese), which starts on the International Airport of Salvador-Bahia and ends on the Praia do Forte, and another party known as GREEN LINE (LINHA VERDE in portuguese), which starts on the end of the COCONUT'S ROAD (ESTRADA DO CÔCO) and ends on the Mangue Seco town.

The  North Coast (Litoral Norte) of the Bahia is without doubt a region rich in important sights of State, and among them we can highlight: Praia do Forte, Costa do Sauipe, Imbassai, Guarajuba Beach, Itacimirim and many others.
